Mona's Flower - Hand Block Printed Pillow Case

A flower arrangement is never quite the same twice. Mona’s Flower began during an afternoon at Mona Flower in Jaipur, where we found ourselves noticing something familiar in the work of the florist and the work of the printer: both depend on patience, balance and a careful hand. The flowers were translated into carved wooden blocks and pressed onto linen, preserving the feeling of that fleeting arrangement long after the flowers themselves were gone. A meeting of two crafts, held together in cloth.
